Q: When I try to ship or hold an order I get an error that says that "You must do a formula or have line item first", even though I have already done my calculation.
A: If Automatic Price is On, the material group will reload if you switch to a new customer whose pricing level (retail/wholesale) does not match the customer which was on the Order screen when you did the calculation.
Q: When I start Form-U-Share I can no longer find my data.
A: Check to make sure that you have the correct Data Path at the bottom of your the Form-U-Share screen. If it is incorrect, you can change it by going to Edit/ System.
Q: I want to use a material that is not listed on my formulation screen. How do I add it?
A: To add a material to your group, go to Edit/Data, click on the location where you want a new material row to be inserted, right-click on the highlighted cell and select Insert Row. To add a restriction, simply choose Insert Column instead of row.
Q: I want to order nutrients from a specific product. How do I add this to my formulation?
A: Go to Edit/Data, click on the cell that represents the column of the nutrient and the row of the product you want to select the nutrient from, right-click on this cell and choose Nutrient From.
Q: How can I change the percent of clay in my suspension?
A: Go to Edit/Restrictions and enter the percent that you want to use in the Min column.
Q: I am trying to make changes in Edit/Activities (or Restrictions) and it won't allow me to save my changes.
A: You must click the Start button to clear your formulation screen before making changes in Activities or Restrictions. However, if you have your Automatics checked in Edit/Tailor, there are certain changes that can only be made and saved in Inventory.
Q: My densities are all wrong. How do I change them?
A: When Automatic Data is checked in Edit/Tailor, Form-U-Share will automatically search inventory for this item and retrieve the density information from there. Otherwise, you will need to convert the density yourself and enter the results in Edit/Data in the Density column. In a dry material group, calculate by dividing 2000 by the pounds per cubic feet. For a liquid group, divide 2000 by the pounds per gallon.
Q: I put an order for a customer on hold and I want to retrieve it, but I don't know the order number.
A: Go to Order/Edit, choose the customer name and you will be able to see any orders on hold for that customer.
Q: The materials on the formulation screen are not in the sequence that I want them.
A: In Edit/Data you can change the sequence of your rows or your columns by simply dragging and dropping them in the location that you want them to appear. The sequence in Edit/Data will be the sequence on your formulation screen and the order that these rows will appear on your mix sheet.
Q: There is a certain dollars to ton added to my price even though I have not set a mixing charge in Edit/Information. There appears to be a hidden mixing charge.
A: Go to Edit/Activities and make sure that the cost and price on the Product row is set to zero.
Q: Regardless of the formulation that I try to create, it always adds a product that shouldn't be there.
A: Click Start to clear, then check Edit/Activities and Edit/Restrictions to see if there are any numbers in the Lower Bound or Min columns.
Q: I changed the cost and prices in Edit/Activities and FUS didn't save my changes.
A: If Automatic Price and Cost are set to Yes in Edit/Tailor, then the cost and price will be read from Inventory each time you load the group.
Q: When I load my material group it prompts me for an analysis (%). It was prompting me for pounds per acre.
A: Click Start to reload the material group. Click the Acre button on the right to switch to acre mode. Then choose File/Save to save this as your default. You can still click on Grade whenever you want to order a specific analysis.
